GK or Gawad Kalinga is a Filipino phrase which
means  "to give care". It is a movement that seeks to
alleviate poverty in the world through an approach that
is comprehensive, integrated, and sustainable.

GK is the foundation of this volunteer initiative for
ANCOP Canada, a registered non-profit. For more

Assisting in construction and landscaping of
GK villages

immersion program that gives Canadian
youth an opportunity to participate in
the transformation of poor communities
while developing social awareness and
leadership skills.
